Experience in lowlevel programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture, hardware design. Experience in storage interface standards such as SATA, SAS, PCIe, and Fiber Channel. System level design and modeling manages design environment make, Perl, SVN, Bugzilla. System integration using 8, 16, 32 bit microcontrollers. Algorithm modeling, benchmarking, implementation, and digital signal processing.
Masters of Science or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience
Working experience in the transceiver industry is preferred.
Familiarity with MSA/Industry specs such as SFF8636 is preferred.
Experience in interface standards I2C.
Familiar with use of i2c host adaptors and i2c protocol analyzers.
Possess strong firmware architectural skills in designing, developing and debugging embedded firmware C programming language for transceiver.
Experience in low-level programming assembly language
Software skills Python, CFamiliar with GIT/Gerrit depositary system
Ability to read schematics, specify IC requirements and features and influence hardware design
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the specific ability to speak to various technical and management levels
Proactive, collaborative and creative approach to innovation, technical development and consensus facilitation to produce optimal project results
Excellent time and task management, and inter-personal skills.
Willingness to travel when required
