We are looking for a self-motivated Process Engineer Manager (PEM) to join our talented team in developing and producing cutting-edge technology and products for 3D sensing applications. The PEM will be based in Milpitas CA, and manages the planning and completion of manufacturing/production engineering projects, including the sourcing and quoting of new equipment, automation of assembly lines, installation and launch including the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling and fixtures process development.
He/she defines and implements the assembly technical road map to meet future requirements. Primary technical disciplines and responsibilities include die bonding, wire bonding in ceramic packages. Assembly Engineering:
Develops and implements cost competitive processes that meet quality and production volume requirements, sustains processes and leads continuous process improvements.
Provide leadership to engineering staff regarding project prioritization, process validations, and continuous improvement activities
CM Partner Management
Support process development and new product introductions.
Drive continuous improvement of engineering technical capabilities.
Prepare technical reports, analysis, recommendations and presentations reflecting the status and results of projects in progress on a regular basis
Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
10 plus years overall experience in semiconductor assembly processes from wafer to assembled devices including 5 plus years management experience
BS degree in electrical engineering, material science, physics, or other relevant major; MS is preferred
US Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or Export License required
Prior management experience is a similar role
Experience with semiconductor laser assembly process will be a plus.
Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment with minimal direction.
Deep understanding of the state of the art of assembly technologies of optical component for consumer industry.
Strong communication skills. Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
