Responsible for designing reliability qualification plans, executing reliability qualifications, performing data analysis, and failure analysis. Works with teams to design appropriate reliability test structures, and signs off on new silicon photonics masks. Will work with teams on long-term product improvement or corrective action implementation as necessary. Also responsible for writing / updating rel reports.
MS with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree in science or engineering, in a field related to photonics.
Must have had at least 1 year of experience in photonics, although laboratory work in a University can substitute for work experience. Work in photonics at a fiber optic or photonics company a plus. Strong understanding of how optoelectronic devices work a must, along with knowledge of semiconductor device fabrication.
Data mining skills and experience (e.g., JMP, Excel, SQL) a plus.
Understanding of reliability or failure analysis methods a plus.
Understanding of silicon photonics a plus, but not required.
