L3Harris Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team. Their overall responsibilities would include working with the Strategic Missions Division General Manager, customers and leading the program managers and teams in capturing and executing end-to-end maritime business, specifically including:
Manages the cost, schedule and technical performance of project portfolio through all phases of a project lifecycle from inception to completion.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
Develops and manages programmatic and financial forecasts.
Drives project portfolio execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, operation income and cash flow.
Establishes and maintains high-level relationships with senior leaders and government customers.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Coordinates with chief engineer and functional managers to ensure proper resources are available in a timely manner to execute project work.
Acts as primary customer leadership contact for portfolio activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Works with customers and programs to determine needs, requirements, and develops new business opportunities.
Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans for team or department to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental business results
Establishes short and long-term strategic plans and roadmaps to ensure maritime system sustainment.
Holds employees accountable in performing assigned work an attaining technical and business goals so we deliver on our contractual commitments.
Interacts internally & externally with management and customers on business matters.

BS Engineering Degree and 12+ years’ experience managing programs within the maritime or similar environment or 10+ years’ experience managing programs within the maritime or similar environment with an MS/MA/MBA.
10 years’ experience with proposals, business plans, statement of work and/or roadmaps.
Experience in the end to end maritime systems development, qualification, and deployment with a strong technical background and solid business acumen.
Experience in the intelligence community as a contractor or government employee.
Ability to organize and coordinate customer visits, to include participation in appropriate symposiums and trade shows.
Ability to make effective decisions regarding the profitability and achievability of pursuits.
Ability to work with other Program Managers, Business Development Managers, Engineering Managers and Functional Managers in achieving business goals.
