Duties and Responsibilities: Provides development and NPI engineering support for micro optics products Identifies new opportunities and works directly with customers to propose innovative solutions to complex optical problems Defines new products and evaluates predicted performance and manufacturability Provides results of analyses in the form of written reports to customers and suggests improvements based on optical design/applications expertise Interacts with process engineering and manufacturing personnel to ensure that design proposals are consistent with manufacturing capabilities Passion for understanding new technologies and drive to see new product opportunities through the early development process
