PhD Position for Research on Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing     Luna Innovations Inc. (Luna) is looking for a candidate for a PhD position for 3 years for research on Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing, specifically on Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS). The PhD student will participate in an international team in an EU-funded Doctoral Network project about higher order modes (HOM) in optical fibers for application in telecommunication, optical sensing, and imaging (HOMTech). The project consists of 10 PhD students at universities and industrial partners from five different EU countries.
